Two days ago, Marina and I jumped onto an almost moving train without tickets in hand, and with the help of the driver.

That’s, I believe, how good stories begin.

Letting your gut decide what’s next, not your overworked brain.

(Your brain makes your whole body work, keeps you alive, and it’s also so soberbio that it thinks it should decide for you. But since your brain already controls everything in your system, you should learn to listen to all the other work inside yourself. Trust your gut, not your brain.)

Eventually, we bought our tickets online and onboard, without knowing that an incident was about to happen somewhere along the rails.

Forty minutes later, we got stuck in Solana Beach for more than three hours.

Jumping onto the train in San Diego, buying our tickets in a rush, and the sad train incident all led to these photos.

Feedback and comments are highly appreciated. Will try to write and shoot every day on this trip.
